WHICH PEOPLE ARE INCLUDED IN PMNHP?

Currently, people who are living in 23 priority districts and earn less than 2$ a day(according to BISP Survey), are the beneficiaries of PM National Health program.

I BELIEVE I AM ELIGIBLE FOR SUPPORT, HOW CAN I BECOME BENEFICIARY OF THE PROGRAM?

Currently, only people who are living in 23 priority districts and earn less than 2$ a day(according to BISP Survey), are the beneficiaries of this program; however, a policy is being worked upon for people who are eligible and want to participate in the Program.

HOW WILL I KNOW THAT I HAVE TO BE ADMITTED IN AN HOSPITAL?

In case of any illness, contact the nearest doctor. The doctor, after examination, will determine the type of illness and suggest if there is a need to admit the patient in the hospital.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I USE THE CARD IN THE HOSPITAL?

A family can use up to 250,000 PKR for priority health care services and 50,000 PKR for secondary health care services. Family can benefit from the card till cash limit is available.

IN WHICH DISEASE CAN THE PAKISTAN SEHAT CARD BE USED?

Pakistan Sehat Card can be used for treatment of any disease that requires the patient to be admitted in the hospital.

WILL THE CHILD BORN IN REGISTERED FAMILY BE ELIGIBLE AS WELL?

The child born in registered family will be eligible only if he/she in born in the empanelled hospital.

IF THE CARD IS UNUSED, WILL ANY AMOUNT BE PAID TO THE CARD HOLDER?

Pakistan Sehat Card is only for indoor treatment. No amount shall be paid if the card is not used.

WILL I BE ELIGIBLE FOR TRANSPORT FACILITY TO VISIT THE HOSPITAL?

In case of indoor treatment, the patient is given 350 PKR as transport fare. This facility can only be availed thrice in a year.
