WHICH PEOPLE ARE INCLUDED IN SSP?

Currently all people living below poverty i.e. earning less then $2/day (as per 32.5 PMT score of NSER) in Punjab, KPK, AJK, GB and 100% population coverage for Newly Merged Districts of KPK and District Tharparker (Sindh) are covered. On Prime Minister’s special directives persons with disabilities (in AJK, GB, ICT, Punjab) and transgender community (across Pakistan), who are registered in NADRA and has special CNIC are also covered.

I BELIEVE I AM ELIGIBLE FOR SUPPORT, HOW CAN I BECOME BENEFICIARY OF THE PROGRAM?

Currently, only people who earn less than 2$ a day (according to NSER database), are the beneficiaries of this program. However, a new Khushali Survey is currently being conducted in Pakistan to identify poverty status of the families. Only the results of this survey can add or remove families from the Sehat Sahulat Program.

HOW WILL I KNOW THAT I HAVE TO BE ADMITTED IN AN HOSPITAL?

In case of any illness, contact the nearest doctor. The doctor, after examination, will determine the type of illness and suggest if there is a need to admit the patient in the hospital.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I USE THE CARD IN THE HOSPITAL?

A family can use up to 300,000 PKR for priority health care services and 60,000 PKR for secondary health care services. Family can benefit from the card till cash limit is available. Additional financial limits are allocated to family in life threatening conditions and in case of maternity. Financial limits of each beneficiary will be refreshed to full amount after the completion of one year of services.

IN WHICH DISEASE CAN THE Sehat Insaf card / Qaumi Sehat Card BE USED?

Sehat Insaf card / Qaumi Sehat Card can be used for treatment of any disease that requires the patient to be admitted in the hospital.

WILL THE CHILD BORN IN REGISTERED FAMILY BE ELIGIBLE AS WELL?

The child born in registered family will automatically be eligible only if he/she in born in the empanelled hospital. In case the child is born in non-empanelled hospital, he/she will be eligible after submitting Child Registration Certificate (CRC)/B-form from NADRA.

IF THE CARD IS UNUSED, WILL ANY AMOUNT BE PAID TO THE CARD HOLDER?

Sehat Insaf card / Qaumi Sehat Card is only for indoor treatment. No amount shall be paid if the card is not used.

WILL I BE ELIGIBLE FOR TRANSPORT FACILITY TO VISIT THE HOSPITAL?

In case of indoor treatment, the patient is given PKR 1,000 as transport fare at the time of discharge. This facility can only be availed thrice in a year.

HOW CAN I ENROLL MY SELF?

Enrolment of eligible beneficiaries in the Sehat Sahulat Program will be done through Beneficiary Enrolment Centers developed in all districts for the purpose. If your district does not has beneficiary enrolment center or if center is very far away then enrolment can be done electronically by visiting this link.
